I try to choose a catchy title for my posts, 2. I keep them short (and hopefully sweet), 3. I don't restrict my posts to current events.

Hope these tips prove helpful. Good luck with your atheist blog!

Devout AtheistDevout Atheisthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08460707204729955870noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1471213167188054202.post-85968906175451654652010-05-06T13:06:21.373-07:002010-05-06T13:06:21.373-07:00Batbird- Thanks for your informative historical co...Batbird- Thanks for your informative historical comment on my recent blog. Charlemagne marched through Europe in the 8th century "converting" pagans at sword-point, through burnings, and decapitation until they saw the light. As a reward for these efforts to spread christianity and grow the church he was crowned Emperor of the Romans. Chrisitanity didn't spread itself. Historians gloss over this as most of them perpetuate the christian view of history. It is the same today as conservative christians re-write recent history such as the intent of the founding fathers.

In light of the history of sex scandals, the catholic church has lost all credibility as a voice for the humane. They cannot condemn any vile behavior with any kind of moral authority. The church has lost the high ground and has much work to do to recover, if that is possible.batbirdhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00463650541229467235noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1471213167188054202.post-20464291507567583212010-04-26T13:52:12.768-07:002010-04-26T13:52:12.768-07:00I too have an atheist blog.
